It is more than frustrating. How could make such a big mistake? I have a Macbook Pro 4,1 which runs a very very powerful processor 2.5Ghz Core 2 Duo with 800Mhz FSB, 3MB Cache (and you know what? I am on the latest OS Apple released which is only for 64 Bit processors) and Nvidia GeForce 8600M GT with 512MB Vram YET it is not supported. You must be joking!
Best Autocad 2011 For Mac System Requirements
If I were on Windows with this machine I was quite able to run AutoCAD 2011 and even further 4 releases. It is such a big big big disappointment. Have Autodesk made a deal with Apple to make us buy new computers? For further information the system profiler will provide more detailed and accurate information than users' accounts of their computers. (Yes, I know they paid for them and should know what's in them, but still) The system profile can be made by going to the Apple menu in the upper right-hand corner, selecting 'About This Mac,' clicking 'More Info' in the dialog that shows up and pressing shift-command-S for the Save As dialog. Here's part of my system profile: Model Name: MacBook Pro Model Identifier: MacBookPro6,2 Processor Name: Intel Core i5 Speed: 2.4 GHz Of Processors: 1 Number Of Cores: 2 Cache (per core): 256 KB L3 Cache: 3 MB Memory: 4 GB Processor Interconnect Speed: 4.8 GT/s Boot ROM Version: MBP61.0057.B0C SMC Version (system): 1.58f15 Serial Number (system): W8015NLEAGU Hardware UUID: FDEAD2E6-5438-5FF8-AE2E-1A2FBAC40621 Sudden Motion Sensor: State: Enabled.
Do you want the whole System Profile or just certain information? I can't upload the entire document, it is too large. So here are the highlights. Can you please tell me: 1. Were you a participant in AutoCAD 2011 for Mac Beta program? If yes, please uninstall your Beta(s) and try installing the AutoCAD 2011 for Mac. Please let us know if this fixes the issue. 2. Do you have any Adobe Software installed on your system?
If yes, could you please send us the following log file: /Library/Application Support/Autodesk/Adlm/ACD2011ENUAdlm.log 3. Is your system locale US English? If not, could you change your system locale to English (Using System Preferences - International) and try re-launching AutoCAD again?
